Sun afternoon

We started with breakfast sandwiches and fruit this morning at 6:30. Cabin 17 sure treated us to a fantastic week! What a blessing! Amazing how fast time flew by this week! Usually I hit a wall by Thursday and I start feeling run down and I make it through the rest of the week on fumes. I didn't feel that way this time.

HUGE thanks go out to all of the Windy Hill staff!!!! From Geoffrey and Elmer in the office to Carla and Eliazar at the front desk to Marisol, Billy,  Emilkar, and Renee in the kitchen and restaurant to all the grounds crew of Cheo and Cheery! I sure have an incredible time each time we visit and most of the is thanks to you all... my Belizean family!!

We had a long wait in the Belize City airport but better early than late! 🙂 Now we are sitting on the plane to Atlanta.

Sat afternoon

We got up and had the best doughnuts with eggs, toast and beans....

We spent time in the market in the morning. Fun to see basically a huge flea market here in Belize! Lots of fruits and veggies are also available!

Then we went to the Mayan Kitchen and learned how to make tamales, tortillas and a chocolate drink. Nice afternoon but we were all tired and thirsty by the time we got back. We cleaned up and headed to church. Absolutely beautiful church in San Ignacio!

We had a great dinner if empandas, nachos and a variety of other Mexican foods. Yumminess!!!!!!!

Our final session was short but extremely meaningful!  Perfect time this week!!!
