Santa Familia was happy to see us, especially our young people. We set up some water games and a toss game while others read books and just hung out with the children. Then we all went up to the church for a short puppet show we did. We sang some songs and Davidbgave is a little talk. Fun to see a church full of singing kids who are praising God!!
Lunch was at Western Dairy in Spanish Lookout. We had pizza and ice cream but most of us enjoyed the air conditioning too!!! Perfect break in the middle of the day.
Off to St Joseph where we will be for the next few days. Such fun to spend time just getting to know the kids. We got out some of the outdoor toys we left from last year and had a great afternoon.
Tonight is fish fry (probably better than any fish fry around the the US) . I am so gullible that one of our servers told me yesterday that we needed to switch the menu because the fishman got sick... of course I felt terrible the person was sick and the waiter started laughing and then I realized how silly I was... 🤣 Glad they feel comfortable enough to tease.
We are doing some spiritual mapping in our retreat time tonight... here's the pics update, but before that happy birthday shout outs to Anna Uselman and Maria Newman!
