We started out at Santa Familia. We had to find out about the amazing shelter the crew started last year and was finished by George! They made picnic tables to go in the shelter. Both look well loved! We plan to primer and paint it on Monday morning. We are also helping to fund the building of a fence to give the school a more secure feeling. It was awesome to see how much they've accomplished in the fence.
We left there and went to lunch at Western Dairy in Spanish Lookout. Yummy as always and a good break from the heat. Then Pat and I (and George's sons) got dropped off and we shopped for stamps and some supplies for the upcoming week. The guys went to another store and did some other shopping and met us at our store when they were done. We got dropped off again at a paint store while the guys went to the lumber store.
We were so happy with all we accomplished then we swung by St Joseph (school we are helping fund to build) and got a couple questions answered there. On the way home we stopped at the church where we will go next Saturday evening. We made it back (after dropping off George and sons and paying a bill in town) around 5. We met with Elmer about meals and rooms. We had dinner and sorted through a lot of stuff. It's now 9:36 and we are in for the night. We talked about taking a dip in the pool, but it is rainging so we called it a night.
Love to all! Blessings on those who are traveling in the morning!
